Questions about studying
How can I explore the programme?
After registration is confirmed, the IELTS trial lesson is available at no extra charge: study the material, complete tasks and record an answer. The four full courses are purchased separately.
What does the trial lesson offer?
It is a first practical step with a topic, new vocabulary and tasks. Your answers help identify strengths and points to discuss with a mentor. One lesson cannot establish your English level with complete accuracy.
Is this suitable for a beginner?
Book materials remain in English. If you find the tasks difficult to understand, discuss your starting level and study route with the Author. A particular IELTS band or result within three months is not guaranteed.
How can I build a regular study routine?
After purchasing, choose available days, times and a mentor, then confirm your course schedule. Study independently between individual sessions. Your account keeps your answers, scores and active study time.
Can I work with a different mentor?
Yes. Contact the Author or a mentor moderator to change the mentor for an individual session, subject to availability. Changing mentors does not require paying for that session again.
Will my mentor necessarily be a native English speaker?
No. Look at verified IELTS results, the profile, introduction video and reviews when choosing. Sessions with a native English speaker are not a guaranteed course feature.
How do I pay, and what does a course include?
Pay through the Clever educational centre’s Kaspi QR using the website order number. Registration is paid separately. The course price includes materials and individual sessions for its lessons; current amounts are displayed before payment.
What if I need a break from studying?
Your independent study progress stays in your account. Before pausing, discuss access dates and changes to future sessions with the Author. Taking a break does not automatically reschedule booked sessions.
Can I split the price into several payments?
The portal accepts the invoiced amount through Kaspi QR. There is currently no separate instalment programme. Do not split a payment yourself: verification requires the amount of the corresponding order.
Who should I contact to reschedule?
Contact the Author or a mentor moderator in advance. They will agree an available time and update the schedule. If a session did not take place, report the problem in your account instead of confirming attendance.
Who can help if I cannot continue the course?
Email clever@zti.kz with your order number. Discontinuation and refund requests are considered under the public offer; a full refund is not automatically promised.
Who approves mentors to teach?
The Author reviews the trial lesson and a verified IELTS Overall score of at least 5.0, then appoints the mentor and permitted courses. The Author or moderator checks photos and biographies. Reviews follow student-confirmed sessions.
Where can I find the lesson location and time?
Your schedule shows the current address, room, mentor and time. Times use Asia/Almaty, UTC+5. Materials, independent tasks and results are available on the portal.
